BJones Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 As a new gripster - and someone who trains alone most of the time - perspective and learning can be difficult. Enter the Gripboard - a great place for information and reality checks. I felt pretty good about getting 2 Ironmind Blue nails cut to 5" last night + a couple of 60d nails - then I read the board and realize that while I am doing well - there are some freaky strong people out there. Lots of work to do. The information here is invaluable and the chance to read others experiences and keep perspective is great. The Gripboard - great place to be. Brett Quote RED Nail Bender
ianders1 Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 (edited) Don't put yourself down like that. For non-terminator, non-Steve, non-Shrugs (i.e. humans ), that is a really good bend. Keep up the great work! Edited April 1, 2004 by ianders1 Quote "Keep away from small people who try to belittle your ambitions. EricMilfeld Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 Yeh, nice work with those short blues! And the sixties too! Quote

BJones Posted April 1, 2004 Author Posted April 1, 2004 Thanks guys - not scoffing and not putting myself down - just keeping perspective. I feel great about where I am with my bending and grip - But when you train alone and when most people think you are VERY strange for doing something like bending steel - perspective is something nice to have reinforced by others that can share the experience. The Gripboard is a great place. Brett Quote RED Nail Bender
