EricMilfeld Posted March 27, 2004 Posted March 27, 2004 Chris Caffery and Weldon dropped by yesterday morning to show off for me. And it was definitely worth being drug out of bed at the ungodly hour of 1100 AM. Weldon nailed three nice reps on his #2, only two weeks after his first close with this gripper. He's also closing it now with only a 2 1/2" set. Then Chris gave me cause for worry. Looks like I won't be the best bender in Ft. Worth for long. His pec is healing up nicely, and his bending is taking off like a rocket ship. He started off by certifying with a ridiculously easy grade 5 bend. This was the first time he's done the crush down without bracing it between his legs (something he's been doing to save his pec). Then he tried his first ever Challenge Bar. I handed Chris a 220 and within seconds realised he was ready for atleast a 240! Awesome job buddy! When his pec recovers to near 100%, he will definitely be nailing some Red. Only a matter of time. strongmitts Posted March 27, 2004 Posted March 27, 2004 Thanks for the compliments Eric. I have a ways to go to catch up with you, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to beat you at bending. I've got my sights set on the red nail and the MMG1. I can't wait for out next contest! BTW, I know Eric doesn't like to toot his own horn, so I'll mention that he bent a red yesterday. FbaLLPlaya_53 Posted March 27, 2004 Posted March 27, 2004 Nice work guys. Chris when your pec heals I bet you will destroy the red! Good luck! Quote Sean Fogale Tacoma, Washington If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.
JeffPeterson Posted March 29, 2004 Posted March 29, 2004 Seems like everyone is knocking on the reds door. Quote
