f1perez Posted March 24, 2004 Posted March 24, 2004 I just received my super master today and I have to say that I'm very pleased as it is my next stepping stone. Currently I have been able to grind the hanldes on three #2's and I'm within 1/16 of an inch from closing the hg250. On the super master I was about 1/4 of inch from closing so hopefully I can get it closed in two months. My question is which gripper should I get next after I close the super master. I was thinking of getting the rb 240 with narrow handles or the pda 280 as the next stepping stone. What do you guys recommend. Btw my hg 250 is about a 2.4 and my super master about a 2.6. Quote
JeffPeterson Posted March 24, 2004 Posted March 24, 2004 Are you looking for one closer to the #3?. Quote
f1perez Posted March 24, 2004 Author Posted March 24, 2004 Yes I'm looking for one that's harder than the super master but just a bit easier than a three. Quote
Rocksurly Posted March 24, 2004 Posted March 24, 2004 I have seen some people post that an HG 300 is just a little easier then a COC #3 Quote
buckdicky Posted March 24, 2004 Posted March 24, 2004 My PDA 280 is right between my super master and 3. My super master is about a 2.6-2.7 and the pda 280 feels like somewhere between 2.8-2.9. Quote
f1perez Posted March 24, 2004 Author Posted March 24, 2004 Thanks for the replies. I'll probably go with the pda 280 and then I'll shoot for the rb240 since probably more people agree that an rb240 is closer to a #3 than the pda 280. If anybody has both gripper please let me know how they rank in strength. Thank you. Quote
