Lever vs Lever, what's the difference?

So I've played around with levering for a couple of months, I have a thick and a thin lever bar that's around 30-40cm in length.

I've done one or the other every week, so one week thin and one week thick bar.

I've done build up reps of 1 until I hit max then dropped down and did 2 sets of 10-30 depending on how I felt.

Went on for around 2 months or so, the third month or so I decided to try it with a barbell that I had layinh around.

It weighs around 7kg, fairly thin and is about 150cm in length.

Not sure why but it feels like the longer bar has another feel to it, a pressure into the hand and wrist like the shorter bars doesn't yield for some reason.

I know, longer bar means more weight at the end of it + depending on where you grab it etc etc...

Is it just a preference or is it better in some way?

Has anyone tried a real barbell or really or lever?

I've seen Carl MyersCough do it, impressive af😮‍💨

Even if the same torque is required to move the weight I think a longer bar will be harder because it require more stabilizing.

I use one metre threaded bar and I put a thin piece of leather on it. You could just use a glove also. I think it's great because you barely have to add any weight. At one metre very small weights is enough to train with.

I am glad I am not the only one feeling this way, I also love what you mentioned about progression needing so little extra weight👀!
