AdriaanRobert96 Posted November 17 Posted November 17 So after a 2 month period of levering 3-4 times/ week in all directions, I have this feeling that it does something to my gripper strength! More specifically Ulnar Deviation, it really has increased my gripper strength in the end range of the gripper. It's obvious I can't prove that more than just tell you my experience but I've destroyed my CoC #3.5 more times in the past 2 months than ever before. I start of by warming up and then take 3 attempts at levering a barbell at the longest point I can manage then I work 1-2 sets of 40 reps (not sure why 40). Any thoughts on this? Quote
Climber028 Posted November 17 Posted November 17 Yup. If you wanna be real simple, the wrist has six movements, flexion extension pronation supination ulnar deviation and radial deviation. You can know nothing else but if you just train these consistently you will have extremely well rounded grip strength without actually having to do any special 5 Quote

Yes sledgehammer especially leveraging has tremendous carry over. Go over to Steve McGranahan YouTube channel and watch his videos on grip workouts Days 1 thru 20 uploaded in January 2020. He gives out golden information on grip strength and secrets. Double Underhand has also a tremendous carry over to grippers as he explains. I hope this answers your question and all the best too your training Sir! 3 Quote
