J.Burns Posted November 16 Posted November 16 So I was on FB market place and I stumbled across a set of coc grippers being sold for extremely cheap and could tell they were in pretty rough shape. So I decided I would try to save them. The set was G,T,1, 1.5, 2, 3.5 modern coc grippers And to my delight there was a set of single stamped grippers ( 1, 2,3,4) They were obviously sitting outside or in a garage for a long time as the spring were rusted badly and were sitting it something corrosive as the handles were "melted" I didn't manage to get any before photos but some photos after I did my best to restore them 2 5 Quote CoC# 3 mms close CoC 2.5 mms close left hand MM1 Cert lever 16lbs sledge 290kg squat 190kg bench 310kg deadlift MM2 cert CoC#3 Cert CoC#3 mms close (left hand)
Luke Blackwell Posted November 16 Posted November 16 Never seen that before. That handle is terrible. 2 Quote "Fight on and fly on to the last drop of blood and the last drop of fuel, to the last beat of the heart." -Manfred Von Richthofen

Fradders Posted November 16 Posted November 16 Did you use anything other than oil and a wire brush to restore, interested that the tarnish came off so well Quote

Glad it didn’t involve any harsh chemicals or sand blasting. Great job 1 Quote
