Injury from setting?

Recommended Posts

My left is my dominant hand, and I do a lot of deep sets of right handed grippers for it. The sets often feel like a lot of strain on my right forearm, which has been dealing with nagging injuries but never really seems to have much problem with closing grippers.

Is this a thing, that you can injure the off hand setting heavy grippers?

I would say for sure, yes.

Yes it can and it's most likely because of a weakness in your weaker arm.

Bicep curls, tricep work should fix it. It shouldn't be a problem setting a gripper if your arm is strong and healthy.

I suppose there's an argument there somewhere for a choker.
