So this thing just fell in my lap working on a forklift pulled out a cylinder cylinder shaft just happened to be 2 inches diameter. I thought how cool would this be as a short deadline bar?

Just finished the short fat DEADLIFT bar.

this was a pain in the a$$.

Had to drill inch and a 16th hole in each end of the bar. Cut the Olympic bar down to fit the new holes.

put the ends of the Olympic bars in the freezer overnight

Next day heated up the 2 inch chrome bar with a torch , press in the Olympic bar super tight fit. 
collar to collar is 36 inch’s, overall is 69 inches 
Ready to DEADLIFT

How heavy did it turn out?
