Codym Posted October 14 Posted October 14 What is the top choice for a grip tester (brand/product)? Thank you! Quote
B1ackD3ath Posted October 14 Posted October 14 They're all different, different feelings, different results. GM150 popular choice, good handles gap adjustment, Jamar hydraulic is pretty accurate, medical grade i think. Others well too, but one more time: they are all different in hand. 1 Quote
degradated Posted October 15 Posted October 15 I have tried four different ones. -A $30 cheapie off Amazon that maxes out at 90kg. NOT recommended. -Baseline BIMS which is what Larry Wheels and physical therapy centers use. Very clinical and comes with the certificate of accuracy. Can be found for $126 on Amazon right now. -Grippermania GM150 that must be imported from Russia. It was $150 + $70 shipping for me. This is my favorite one overall, mainly due to the largest running leaderboard competition that you can participate in once you own one and follow all the rules for video submissions. -GD Dyno-200 also on Amazon for $140. This is a very nice one, I own the 150 version that they have now upgraded to 200kg. Similar to the GM 150, it is just a little nicer fit and finish but very comparable. -Akugeki AK150... The creme de La creme of grip dynamometers. It is also over $600 and must be imported from Japan I believe.
