dubyagrip Posted October 9 Posted October 9 I doubt Ironmind gives me the record for this because it seems like they want it done at a competition, but whatever, it is clear I own this thing. 💪 I will get to fulfilling the record requirements once I receive them. 17 Quote I am good at grip.
Grepm.m Posted October 9 Posted October 9 Looking forward to be beaten by you at King Kong! 1 Quote CoC #3 CCS - Standard Cobalt CCS - CoC #3.5 deep set - 134.7 kg / 297 lbs GM150 dynamometer - Inch dumbbell lift both hands
Glitch Posted October 9 Posted October 9 Super solid lift! How much do you reckon you could lift with a fresh one vs this current chalked one? Dunno how much chalk IronMind allows for their WR cert attempt equipment nowadays but I'd assume it's better to be safe than sorry in these things. Quote Goals: Grip Genie 5 (deep set), CoC #2 (CCS), IM Red Nail (DO, single pads).

I've had that conversation with them. They just want to be sure there's no tacky on it. Quote I am good at grip.

Then you're looking very likely to get that WR! Quote Goals: Grip Genie 5 (deep set), CoC #2 (CCS), IM Red Nail (DO, single pads).

dubyagrip Posted October 9 Author Posted October 9 I actually won't be pursuing anything related to Ironmind anymore. I'm done with that mess. 7 Quote I am good at grip.

That beats Harri by nearly 3 lbs! And his block looks more chalked up than yours. But I think the rules changed since he set the "official" record right? Just like how they changed the Rolling Thunder to a new device (and Mark Felix is no longer on top), the rules were changed with the block, (I think), so there should be a separate list formed in my opinion. I'm guessing that Randall didn't accept your video (which is a total bummer)... Great lift, nonetheless, you own the block (for now) 🤔😄 I think your hands being so big of a span give you that little bit of an advantage for the wider (3"-4") blocks. I think you don't prefer the narrower ones right? What is your best lift on a 60mm block, just curious? 👏🏻 Quote -Ryan Shinvill- 43 | 6'3" | 198 lbs Achievements: TNS: 1̶1̶7̶ CCS: 1̶2̶4̶ MMS: 1̶3̶5̶ ̶ DS: 1̶4̶4̶ IM Hub: 6̶6̶.̶6̶ ̶l̶b̶s̶ IM Block: 8̶0̶.̶6̶ ̶l̶b̶s̶ GG Hilt: 1̶9̶0̶.̶4̶ ̶l̶b̶s̶ GM-150: 2̶4̶0̶.̶9̶ ̶l̶b̶s̶ 2025/26 Goals: MM160 Cert, CoC3 Cert, CTD Cert, 265+ on GM150 IG
degradated Posted October 10 Posted October 10 Oh, I totally forgot to ask but how much do the smelling salts help? I've been meaning to pick some up but don't know if it's worth the investment and can't find the right ones. Leaning towards the Jujumufu Ahhhhhh! ones. My best 3" saxon lift is around 275lbs, where my best 2" is 260lbs. It's catching up, but the narrower pinch doesn't let me use my thumb as well as the wider lifts. 1 Quote I am good at grip.
John Knowlton Posted October 10 Posted October 10 I don't know dude, did you get all the tacky off of it. yes, you do own this one. supper grip strength 1 Quote
