sextoy1 Posted October 4 Posted October 4 I'm making a Little Big Horn, so I'm curious about the finish on one of them. Is it a very clean finish, or are there tool marks for some grip? I've looked at images, but they're all grainy, so I can't get a clear idea. It seems like there are some tool marks, but I'm not totally sure. Can you clean it up a little? posted this on accident in gripboard this seems like the more appropriate place for this. Quote
Kristoffer Lindqvist Posted October 12 Posted October 12 Hey, Surprised that there's no answers to this so here we go. It is machined so it has very low symmetrical ridges. You can't see them unless you look closely. But you can definitely feel them - I've tore my own skin twice chalking a new handle. Here's my attempt at getting a pic of the surface on a relatively new horn. It rusts pretty fast (especially if chalked, seems to bind humidity). That's of course a good thing as it then takes chalk better. Hope this helps! PS. Will introduce myself on the new members thread in a bit, think this may be my first post outside of Buying and Selling 🫡 1 Quote
Kristoffer Lindqvist Posted October 12 Posted October 12 Noted that the Gripboard copy of this thread saw action and that you already made a very nice looking horn.🔥 But at least this thread is not empty and lonely now. 😁 1 Quote

That pictures perfect, it looks like the LBH has a bit more texture than the one I made. Quote
