Jlark27 Posted October 1 Posted October 1 Hi. For those who have tried Robert Baraban grippers, how do they compare to other gripper brands? likes? Dislikes? Quote
slazbob Posted October 1 Posted October 1 Just thicker handles. I also have an extended one but the spring seems to crack the shine off when you close it haha. They are nice looking grippers …but I never reach for them training much -if ever. Quote
C8Myotome Posted October 1 Posted October 1 I only have the rb adjustable but don't like it..20 mm handles, too thick, the torsion grippers are also 20 mm Quote 186 PB350 MMS, 183 CoC 3.5 MMS, 180 CoC 3.5 38 mm, 178 GHP8 30 mm, 175 GHP8 CCS
deadgrip Posted October 1 Posted October 1 the old RBs are really nice- with 19mm handles…. Hard to find BUT had really sharp knurling as well.. 3 Quote
BenMorrissey Posted October 1 Posted October 1 The ones I have are well built, and feel good to use. As others have mentioned, the handles are slightly thicker, which, in my opinion, makes them slightly easier to close than their poundage would indicate. I don't think variety is a bad thing, though 2 Quote PBs - MMS CoC #3, CCS 137, TNS 131 (RB Narrow), 92KG 3" Pinch, 72KG RT

When you say sharp knurling, would you compare it to the sharpness of a GHP gripper? I have a GHP 7 and love how much the handle digs into my hand. Seems to stay put much more than the coc do. Quote

If you just want to have a couple different grippers to work with/collect, get an RB- they’re still a quality gripper and have been around for a very long time. 1 Quote
