Edrik Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Coc 1 time hold 20sec This is me holding the coc 1 for 20sec What would be an impressive amount to hold it for and what are some of your best gripper holds ? 4 Quote
C8Myotome Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Back when I was doing a program where the point was timed holds i would be doing 127 coc 2.5 hold for 45+ seconds, at the last rep of a set. It was quite boring... I can probably hold a coc 3.5 closed for over 10 seconds but I've never tried to max out time A coc 1 I would probably be there all day with 2 Quote 186 PB350 MMS, 183 CoC 3.5 MMS, 180 CoC 3.5 38 mm, 178 GHP8 30 mm, 175 GHP8 CCS

You are doing well and just getting started! All the best in your hand gripper training and sprinkle in some standing finger curls too! 2 Quote Kettlebell Wrist Strength Pro. dubyagrip Posted September 28 Posted September 28 I did an 18 second silver bullet hold with a #4 back in June. I'm not sure holds are the most effective way to build gripper strength, but if you enjoy it, keep at it! 8 1 Quote I am good at grip.
Fist of Fury Posted September 29 Posted September 29 It was a really long time ago I trained holds. 10 years ago when I started grippers I think I did COC#1 for sets of 90 seconds for a while. My best Silver Bullet was 16 seconds with RB365 (somewhere in the 195-200 range I think) and 48 seconds with a #3 rated 146. I really should start training silver bullet again, it's fun. 2 Quote
kurtwpg Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Not the most perfect angle, but I don't really do these. I'll leave someone else to decide when the handles are touching or not touching. 3 Quote
