Lined up my guys that won’t be closed for a group photo…. I never really meant to get a bunch of the giant springs but it just happened that way and well now here we are..  I don’t think any of them are smiling 😐

Yea good call, i just got a 750 from here: https://www.ebuy7.com/xinyi-wanjia-rough-grip-strength-device-professional-wrist-strength-trainer-forearm-muscle-home-fitness-equipment.html

(anything above the 350 is likely basically unclosable though)

dang guys- I thought these were gone..  where in the world is this coming from?  Did you get it without any trouble? 🤔

Chinese wholesalers pretty much, you have to make an order to get a quote and then make a payment and agree. I had no issues with ordering 6 from a similar website

no trouble at all, like slipshod said, i paid, chose "pay shipping later: then they obtained the item, asked me to pay shipping, and  then it shipped and it got here with no issues.

Some of these are probably not even closable. Handles would probably come off before they close :D

haha ya for sure- as far as I know Tettings Thor is the thickest spring to be rated and it came in at about 500 😝 I wouldn’t try Super Galaxy or mini-Hercules after that..

What is the gripper furthest to the right on the 2nd row?

that’s what I call the miniHercules—  so I know of two stories for it:  one is that this is the Hercules that replaced the REAL giant Hercules(bottom row last on right) because either he couldn’t get that spring/found it very difficult to drill.  And that it was available only around 2017 or so? And im not too sure how many are out there-  Matt @Cannon knows more on this.

and another story I have which goes further back— a friend of mine told me that he had asked Warren to make this one coil style springs for him some years further back.. so whether these were left over from that or it was decided to make these a new Hercules, im not sure.

It’s slightly larger than a Super Galaxy but below Tettings T14– and actually out of all of those the real Hercules spring is larger than any of those you see there.   Which I actually like, feels like respectful to not have the same or go above it.. in reality I don’t think anyone wants to mess with that spring size for difficulty to work with/no reason to.

Thats very cool, for my heaviest Tettings I have a Hercules, Thor, Galaxy, World Class, P (pluto? ah Pro 🤣) but I had never seen that one before (or noticed it if i had seen it).

lol actually not that far off with calling it Pluto— Warren has some World Class’ with a Z engraving for Zeus— and I’ve read a couple places that he had multiple names for others as well- Universe, Beast, Atlas.. might be more..

spring size order for yours would be Pro, World Class, Galaxy, Thor, and if I remember correctly your PINLESS Hercules lol 😉   You’ve got a nice run going man.  Yea I’ve only seen the miniHercules maybe 2-3 times.
