Glad you liked the bend!!! was hoping I could pull it off haha!!! I’ve only done one single imp red nail before but it was with clamps and meticulous wrapping so success was far from a given😂

That sounds great! Haha, yeah I can’t ever figure out computer stuff either! We just have to wait for our kids to get old enough to handle it for us 😂

Looks like I’m half way to gold standard lol CCS a CoC 3, hub pinching a 45lbs plate, and bending a Red Nail are all things I can pretty much do in my sleep. Lifting an inch DB, double 45lbs plate pinch, and a fat man are definitely not gunna happen right now though 😅 I’ve lifted an inch but it’s been about a decade since the last time I was able to actually lock it out and I have basically no experience with blobs. If I could get my hands on the equipment I could probably do the silver though!

Won't take long.  When my son was 14, he built me a really decent desktop computer from scratch - meaning, he ordered all the parts like fans, motherboard, memory chips, processor, graphics card, case, drives, etc. and put the whole thing together.  All I had to do was pay and watch.  And he troubleshoots any tech issues on the computer and any other device anyone asks about.

I don’t wanna go off topic here, but this is so cool and really impressive. Something like Michael Dell! It’s amazing how young people today are so tech-savvy and able to take on complex tasks like building a computer from scratch. You must be proud of your son’s skills, especially with him being the go-to person for troubleshooting tech issues!

I have considered introducing a Bronze Standard Challenge as well. Its come to my attention that the Silver Standard Challenge is also at a very high level of grip and wrist strength. Not only is it a challenge task but acquiring specific items for the challenge is also tricky. I want to make a Bronze Standard to bring in more people and also use it as another bridge for people working up to complete the Silver Standard. Also having Gold, Silver, and Bronze just seems like the right thing to do. OKAY! HERE IS THE LIST FOR THE BRONZE STANDARD:

-Credit Card Set A CoC No.1

-Lift ANY type of Inch Trainer at 130lb/59kg (must be scaled on film) Can be tilted or level. (Tilted needs to be held a little longer than normal for obvious reasons.)

-Lift A 100 Legacy Blob, 20kg Holle Blob, Half 90 Pre USA Blob, or Blob Trainer (must be scaled on film and not less than 44lbs)

-Plate Pinch Two 25lb Plates (Any brand is fine.)

-Hub A 25lb Plate (Any brand is fine.)

-Bend ANY type of 60 Penny Nail (Galvanized, Polished, and so on.) They can be purchased at Lowes, Home Depot, annnd so on.

All of these items should be easily available. The only item that could be troublesome to acquire would be the blob portion of the challenge. I feel like the Bronze Standard is a great challenge for bringing to the Silver Standard and also for bridging in some of the strong female athletes. (Im sure there are a few that can accomplish the Silver Standard as well.) Please provide some feedback and as always, I'm looking forward to more submissions! There are some Silver Standards that I expect to be completed very soon as well!

I've got a bending 'trial kit' on the way from @Cannon to dip my toe...

Maybe I can use this as a stepping stone to Silver while I build up to it.

BIG UPDATE:

Ive decided to add another version of the standard challenge . This is to hopefully get the grip monsters attention and pure entertainment for the grip world. The list of achievement would be very small but I think there are some monsters out there that could do this!

Are you ready for…

The Platinum Standard:

-Credit Card CoC 4

-104kg (Millennium) Dumbbell Lift

-Blobzilla Lift

-Reds (55lb) Plate Pinch

-Milled Backs Hub (Shallow Hub)

-Single Wraps Reverse Red Nail Bend

Wow, look at that list :blink:yikes
