RHZGrip Posted June 30 Posted June 30 Do you use it in your training? Is it really a perfect complement to CoC training? Quote
Cannon Posted June 30 Posted June 30 I feel they are best for warming up, active recovery, and therapy. Therefore, levels 3 and 4 (which are challenging) are really odd ducks. They do not feel very similar to a regular gripper at all. I do not personally use them. Honestly, my recommendation is skip them unless you just really have expendable income and want more grippy stuff. They are well made and satisfying to rep. 1 1 Quote
C8Myotome Posted June 30 Posted June 30 I have a zenith trainer for sale at $30 before shipping. It looks cool but I don't use it, not for regular training, and I'm not one to fidget around with grippers so I don't have a use for it Quote 186 PB350 MMS, 183 CoC 3.5 MMS, 180 CoC 3.5 38 mm, 178 GHP8 30 mm, 175 GHP8 CCS
Fist of Fury Posted June 30 Posted June 30 (edited) They are completely different. Not at all like COC's. If you're plan is to close grippers like COC and similar they are not a good investment. If your plan is to just train your grip they can be good. The only benefit they have in my opinion is that they don't have any knurling. That's the only reason I have used them in my training a few times. When my skin was so broken so it couldn't handle knurled handles but I still needed to train. If you want something without knurling, it's better to buy a few more grippers and take the knurling off with a sandpaper. Or even better is to buy a Vulcan gripper, they don't have knurling, they aren't the same as a COC either but they are much closer to it than the Zenith grippers are.
