Good morning, y'all. I'm creating a new post dedicated to my training log and new inventions that will aid in my grip strength journey. Here are my last few additions to the collection, the most recent close and new toys for my home gym.

My last workout was Saturday and consisted of,

10 min GGP:
-25 Banded pushdowns
-25 Banded Facepulls
-25 Banded ER

1x2 @360lb bench press
1x1 @ 405lb Bench Press
3x4 @315lb Close Grip Bench Press (Paused)

3x8 Military Press @201lb

3x8 Weighted Cannon ball Grip Pull-ups @53lb
3x5 Assisted 1 Arm Pull Ups

a) 3x12-20 Standing Barbell Wrist curl (a then b implies superset)
b) 3x10 Hammer Curls

Gripper Training: Left and right

-COC Gx10 reps
-COC Tx5 Reps
-Heavy Grips 200x3 Reps
-Standard Grippers Copper RGC 105 x2reps
-Standard Grippers Platinum RGC 118 x1 Rep
Rest about 1-2 min, then Smoked a 2.5COC RGC 123

These are not card or block sets. I need to get myself a setting block to begin training more seriously. As most can see, I'm a powerlifter, and most workouts focus on powerlifting.
I hope y'all enjoy the journey. I will continue to post regularly!

That is a great workout 💪. It looks like you do wide sets on grippers like me. I was wondering what your dynamometer score is in kg.

I am around 30mm when I set them, but again, this is a rough estimate. I just started training with CCS and will make a setting block at around 20mm x 30mm to practice both. Overall, I'm just practicing parallel sets and just trying to work up to a #3 CoC.

As far as strength, I can try to verify that and get back to you.

Ok, so that's a deep set basically. I mostly just do wide sets , enough to get the pinky on and then close but there are routines for different purposes also like yours. 30 mm will work the end close more often

Yes, again, it could very well be about an inch and a half (38mm) to start. I just haven't really measured outside of a credit card set, which is why I need to start. haha

SG Iron rgc 135 (PR)

Was super please to see progress. I can easily CCS a #2 now and almost a 2.5 so the progress is evident.

Some of today’s grip session post bench and back work. I felt weak, nearly failed the ghp6 but managed to muster up some extra singles. Only training “heavy” once a week at the moment. Decreased training load significantly.

worked up through warm ups reps of 5-8 prior to,

GHP6 (RGC 130) 2x1

SG Copper (RGC 105) 3x3-5

I've been taking it easy this week since I went rock climbing and tweaked my bicep. I notice that it aches when gripping heavy so resting. I may give some grippers a go today, but nothing higher than a 105-120, maybe sets of 2-5's.

Be careful if it's your setting hand/arm

I hope it will heal soon

Thank you. It's actually not, thankfully.

Im going to be careful either way because I've got a pwrlifting meet coming up at the end of the month. Need to be tip top.

I see. If it's the hand that you usually supinate when doing deads with mixed grip, make sure to switch it up because that aggravates it a lot

What's up y'all? Update on my training endeavors in the world of grippers.

My bicep is finally healing, and I have begun training slowly again. It seems that my last rock climbing session was too vigorous, and I strained my bicep, which ultimately affected my crushing strength/ability.

Lesson learned, and I'll be back on the road to COC#3 and MM certs! Lesson learned, and I'll be back on the road to COC#3 and MM certs!
