Alex K
Just finished watching the stream, what can I say Devon did bring an insane package with him, mad respect to the guy. Without him the sport wouldn’t be where it is right now for sure. I was sad to hear no support from the crowd for Denis, he’s a really nice and humple guy and great athlete. I hope he can further continue improving and step on a stage even more improved!
Jared P
It was an incredible event. I honestly wasn't surprised at all that Devon beat Denis, after what we saw against Ermes, and Devon's strength had only increased since then. His versatility and understanding of technique is simply too great when combined with his strength. His ability to transition from a top roll, to a press, then back to a toproll for the finish, without losing a beat - is unmatched. He knows exactly what to do, at all of the right moments. Many people, such as Ongarbaev, are also great technicians, but no one can execute these variety of techniques as well as Devon. His only worthy opponents now seem to be Vitaly, or a rematch against Levan. Todd Hutchings continues to amaze. I'd like to see him against Sasho Andreev or Ivan Matyushenko.
