Wow.  That was clean and apparently effortless.  Query (to anyone who has done this):  which is harder?  the hub or the curl?  Different skills so maybe different answers, but as to both parts of the feat, wow.

I think that depends on the person, I can hub them easy but I cant curl very well right now so that wouldn't happen, I'm sure theres plenty of people on the opposite end of that spectrum that could curl them easy but cant hub them

It is a great grip feat and is rare to see. Zach and Gripboard  (username Stranger) are the two best I have seen. If you are curling the plate easy then you will have zero issues hubbing them. IMO, only hub feat harder is when Gil Goodman clapped during hub transfer.

Thanks for the shout out! I haven't touched a deep dish 45 in a few years and am currently thinking about getting the Rogue ones. Anyone ever try them? Also, Gil did what?!? I gotta see this!

The curl is the though part for me. Can't let up with the grip or the plate will come down on your finger/fingernails.

No problem you dominated that feat too! If you go on Gil’s IG(Squeezus) July 19 2018 he does a hub transfer and claps in middle of said feat. He has it in slo-mo, which captures it great. He mentions it was his favorite grip feat up to that time and as you probably know that dude has a zillion killer feats.

Personally for me the hub lift of 45lbs isn’t too bad. I’d say the toughest part of that lift is that the curl puts some pressure/strain on the wrist similar to a plate curl. It isn’t as bad as a plate curl being that the hand is in the center of the plate.

Definitely agree. Tons of people who can hub lift way more than me and are way stronger than me at curling. I just happen to land somewhere in the middle.

The Rogue DD 45s are beautiful plates, not terrible, but not the easiest for hubbing
