I always use 150% of deadlift 1RM for my lockout goal.

That is a good question... I have never really maxed out on finger lifts. If I am just using one finger I would not go all out. Have you heard what happened to Dave Horne when he was finger lifting?.... pretty frightning stuff. I know I could fully bar deadlift 115 pounds with just my two ring fingers.

I did a 135 lb one finger lift (middle finger) on the excellent Fat Bastard Barbell Finger lift/loading pin :D . Brian Schoonveld did 135 with his pinkie (ouch!) at the NASS IL Record breakers meet. We were just seeing what we could do as we'd never tried that lift before. Hands & forearms VERY sore the next day!

Johan Albrektsson from Sweden (2:nd in Löddeköpinge Grip Challenge IX) has fully dead lift 190 kg! (418 lbs) using only his middle fingers. Very well done!

Finger lifta are something I am not prepared to get into. I like my fingers and want them to remain where they are. I will of course never become a grip legend as I do not enjoy pain enough! :laugh
