Rick Walker
The man is a freakin' animal! We trained yesterday for an hour and a half. Let me see-the highlights???? He lifted the Inch above knee level twice with his right hand. He pinced 2-45s to full lockout, then passed them from hand to hand. EEEEKKKK I am very, very wore down. In the middle of some freakish volume-(Steve is also, but he never gets tired ) But i still managed the Blob pretty easy in my right hand and 2-hand pinched 175. Who knows what I can pull at 100% recovery-I feel it will be close to bodyweight! I also closed Steve's RB 210 and 240 pretty easily. He was close on my BBE. Contest dudes: The 2-hand pinch apparatus is SLIPPERY! Steve: any comments?? Rick Walker
Dan Cenidoza
Contest dudes: The 2-hand pinch apparatus is SLIPPERY-Steve-and comments?? Thank you for telling us this Rick. I'm not sure what kind of comments you're looking for but I wondered about this myself. The plates I've been using for pinching have machining marks on them that provide a little bit of grip. I'll be sure to keep that in mind!
Rick Walker
The Ted's Shed thick bar is darn slick as well. Put it this way-a comment straight from Big Steve himself: "Aint no way any records will be broken with this stuff...(thick bar, 2-hand pinch)" Rick's comment: "Hey bro, I dont mess around!" Rob Vigeant
Rick are we going to be able to try these plates and thickbar? also are the grippers brand new in the packages.I don't know how i'll do with your equipment to give a correct opener. Do we just try a max or start light and go heavy? Thanks
Rick Walker
I would open 20-30 pounds lighter than what you were originally going to open. We go till we have a winner- Rick Walker
