John Wood

Sybersnott

Recommended Posts

Someone else took me up on my offer today.

Guess who decided to drop by my part of town and meet me - the great and mighty Sybersnott - for a visit today? It was the amazing incredible John Wood! :yikes

After trying to determine where he was, and with "the mom" in tow, we opted to eat at Cracker Barrel for lunch and talk grip. I, of course, brought some of my grippers with me. He tried my #4, and Clay's #4 which I brought too... and he mashed my original #3 like it was nothing! Wow! :D

Then we had a long chat about grip strength and we both agreed how most people don't have one. He commented that having a strong grip helps you in almost all aspects of life when you think about it.

My only complaint.... our meeting didn't last long enough (it never does). Soon, he was back on his way again, and I felt richer with his visit to me and his shared knowledge of strength. He shook my hand (god, what a grip!), and said goodbye.

John, thanks for the visit. I sure did appreciate it and so did my mom. Thanks again! :bow:rock:bow

Thanks Snott, I had also had a great time. It was great seeing you again and meeting your Mom. Snott's Mom is a recently retired teacher down in the Atlanta area. Her two most famous students were Priscilla Presley (yes Elvis' wife) and Julia Roberts (yes THE Julia Roberts). Amazing! For those who havent met the mighty Snott, he is the real deal in the grip department and will soon be added to the list of BB Elite closers. Its just a matter of time. I saw him mash his #3 and hold it close for a good ten seconds. Good luck with your new program Snott, and thanks again.

I commented to John that some people "just don't get it".

What I'm referring to is our passion for grip strength. Yeah, my mom is one of those people. She just doesn't get it.

It's strange to her. And it's strange to most people. I tried to explain it to a friend of mine at work, and she was like, "Oh, well if it makes you happy....". :dry

Bite your tongue, Roark! :tongue:laugh

I had the Momma's Pancake Breakfast. I'm not sure what John had but he insisted on drinking a glass of milk with it. My mom had the Chicken 'n Dumplings. I don't think I've ever had the Mac 'n Cheese at the Barrel.... but if terminator says it's fab, I'll be ordering it the next time I go there. Thanks for the tip, Pat!! :):D
