Jedd's video on the V-bar really helped. Its on TheGripAuthority.com

Also, I think my arms are getting used to the lift. My biceps didn't hurt like last week.

Looked like you had more in you. I'm guessing you could have pulled 230 lbs or more

def felt more in me but dat lack of olympic plates situation had me stuck @ 211 lbs.

It was prob for the best because today was my first grip workout using the program Jedd wrote out for me which ended up being brutal. Grippers and vbar in the same workout KO'ed my forearms lol

Hope so!

and congrats on that 197 pull! almost 20 pounds over bodyweight is crazy. There is no way your not pulling over 200 at next months comp.

Also, did you notice your grip workouts being affected by our Beer Crushing Wars? cuz I did in a big way, glad we sort of put that war on hold. My crush grip got hit the hardest, now I'm back to normal but there were a couple weeks that my gripper workouts were drastically affected.

Thanks man! I'm really not that big of a guy so that 197 was quite hard.

Yeah but I've noticed that if I do anything but crush grippers I start to slide backwards, all the thickbar, v-bar, and pinch means that my grippers are suffering. I do have a plan to build my base level strength rather then training really hard and peaking then sliding back. Then again grippers have also been my weak point.

I'm curious as to what jedd told you as far as getting that up. You have the same grip and foot placement as me. But you are also strong than me in all areas of grip so that could be it.

KapMan, I have a full-length instructional video for all the events of the 2015 King Kong of Grip contest. There's a technique video for each event, and a workout for each event. You should check my site out - this is just 1 example of how correcting technique can instantly add weight to your lifts. http://www.thegripauthority.com
