avasatu Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 I am looking for remedies to make sure this doesn't happen again. I have torn the skin along the crease of the thumb right as the thumb turns into the thumb pad while doing wood block pinches. I have sanded the edges of the block twice, so I'm sure any wood roughness isn't the issue. How can I prevent this from happening again? The weird thing is that it only happens to my right hand. climber511 Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 You may be setting it too deep. Try moving it onto the thumb more. 1 Quote When people used to ask him how it was he became so incredibly strong, it was always the same, "strengthen your mind, the rest will follow".
