acorn Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Jedd was kind enough to film and edit this footage from after the Griptoberfest comp. Was a tough feat to pull off finally. - Aaron 10 Quote ** Retired **
Juha Harju Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 WORLD CLASS lift Aaron!!!! 3 Quote Juha Harju Finland The King Kong Of Grip GripMonsters GripMonsters-YouTube
odin Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Aaron and Jedd, I was thinking about the difficulty of this feat. Less have pinched 3x25 than have pinched 2x45 last time I checked 4x10kg is app. 13# (or 6kg) heavier than 3x25 There is an additional plate/variable involved (more room for error in lining up, etc./sliding around) Not sure about the width, but must be around the same width or wider, can't be narrower, can it? World class, no doubt in my mind-great work Aaron and Jedd will get it fresh! 4 Quote Spoiler Bob Sundin 5'11 and 162 lbs. https://m.youtube.com/channel/UC7AZdUkf0aEDB3ET4UhU3Bg/videos
burkhardmacht Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Awesome, Aaron!! 1 Quote "[...], this is a brutish-looking cast iron globe dumbbell with the short, fat handle that, for most people, ensures that it will never leave the ground. acorn Posted October 16, 2015 Author Posted October 16, 2015 What's that Jedd says? Misses are just warmups, or something like that. So true! - Aaron 1 Quote ** Retired **
bwwm Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 I had never tried to grab anything that wide & square before. You have to try it, to truly appreciate what a bastard lift this is. It's very awkward on the finger tips/joints. 2 Quote Martin
acorn Posted October 16, 2015 Author Posted October 16, 2015 Was thinking about it this morning and I think that 4x 20Kg Eleiko - 2 hand Pinch may be a doable feat. I only have a pair right now and also my Left Hand not there yet but I think Juha might be able to do this. 4x 20Kg only a little wider than 3x 25kg or 4x 10Kg for 1H at 88mm. Only 5Kg heavier than the 3x 25Kg as well. - Aaron 2 Quote ** Retired **
