Pinch Project

I wanted to do something a little different in my Pinch training, so I decided to try out these crazy plates.

They are Hofman (sp) plates. Although they are 45's, they actually weigh 50lbs. James Fuller said the company was owned by a Robert Hofman in York that was not the famous Bob Hoffman of York Barbell fame. I have no idea about that stuff to be honest.

All I know is that I've owned these plates since 2006 and never even considered trying to pinch them. Their edge is also super sharp. We filed about a 5-inch space down on each plate so they weren't so stinking sharp.

Here's the video - it's got pictures of each plate being weighed.

Seeing air on just the 2nd session was very exciting for me, and I am pumped up to train me some Pinchin'. Been dreading Pinch Work for like 2 years.
