John McCarter
Just made this the other day, you can skip to the end where I try to attempt it (keyword "try") https://youtu.be/O285rzDGjhI
Tom Scibelli
Great idea John, and that looks like it would spin more than an inch because the diameter is bigger, so just to break it off the ground is very cool

JaredWith1R
Have you seen Jared Goguen's shot loadable INCH trainer? These DIY grip implements are really a great addition to the sport! Very simple and fun idea you have here.

Jared Goguen
Yep, I've watched that one. I have no welding skills or I would have gone down that route. I learned from watching youtube videos and my welds show it but its still fun making things. Edited June 9, 2015 by Jared Goguen
Bearcat 74
Yep, I've watched that one. I have no welding skills or I would have gone down that route. I learned from watching youtube videos and my welds show it but its still fun making things. I weld by the pound, I figure all the crappy welds just add weight to the implement I'm making. Good looking stuff guys!
Alawadhi
Very nice! It spins A LOT! Try to stop the spinning with two fingers of the other hand and once your up let go. That's what made me lift my 68kg inch.
odin
Nice work on the DB John! Attach 5-10 lbs to the finger side, break it off the ground slowly and it should come right up. You are almost ready for a full, controlled lift anyway, the rotation is just catching you off-guard a little.

Jonathan McMillan
John That was great thanks for posting it!!! I've always wanted to try to make a concrete db but never got around to it. I can't remember but way back when I think there was discussion on the math's for figuring out the weight. Jared that is a sweet inch trainer!
