AKJV1769
I just got this gripper back from Cannon. Tetting World Class 327lb. Rating I really didn't think they were going to be able to rate it but they proved me wrong. After I sent it off I felt bad for Cannon that I had burdened them with this. Thank you Cannon! I had 4 other Tetting grippers rated by Cannon down to a Elite as well. I think I have the lowest rated single stamp CoC #3 at 135lb. and possibly the highest gripper Cannon has rated with this World Class Tetting at 327lb. The spring touches the handles and you can't even get Cannon's rating string between the handle and the spring. It feels like maybe a 950lb silverback gorilla possibly could close it on a good day. I wonder if anyone on earth could even chest crush it. Edited April 29, 2015 by AKJV1769
Alawadhi
Lucky you! I got a 138lb CoC #3 new out of package. I really feel lucky. But damn you got a very low legit (not timmy's) CoC #3. And nice WC there. I think the WC can be chest crushed. Wanna sell the WC?
Evan Raftopoulos
my WC with extended handle is 279. I can’t even close a gripper half of that but it feels good just trying to set this gripper in my hand. I can get the handles about parallel with pulling on the extended handle, and sometimes with using only one hand and a 38 mm block I touch the handles on the block, I guess for building strength and explosion at the beginning range of grippers. I think a good goal for me would be to work towards using a ~32 mm block. My point is that even if a gripper is impossible for you to close you can still train and have fun with it. I even try the same with my thor which couldn’t be rated, only with a 70 mm block (gap between handles is ~73mm).that 135 CoC3 must be an ego booster Just chatting here, how much would you be willing to sell it for? How much the rest of you guys are willing to pay for the lowest rated #3 ever.? Edited April 29, 2015 by Evan Raftopoulos

odin
Scott, your gripper reminds me of this story: handgrippermanCOC & Mash Monster Level 5 Posted 25 December 2006 - 06:26 PM well I decided to calibrate some grippers today. I calibrated the 3.5 that I closed out of the package. This one http://www.gripboard...d...si&img=5149. To my suprise it was calibrated at 195lbs (3.78). The RB300 of doom was 187.5 (3.65). custom RB365 250 (4.75s) RB300 stealth 195 (3.78). So I decided to try the "Super Galaxy" 2 3/4 spread . so I started with 225lbs on the loading pin and went from there, with 225lbs it moved about a 1/4. I had my dad help me stack weights on the loading pin. (the whole time my dad said this is a stupid idea and dangerous). But if you know me that goes in one ear and right out the other. . So we stacked 6, 25lb plates on the 225lbs, The super galaxy bairly moved then we stacked 2 35s on and it didn't budge. at this point the spread of the super galaxy was about 2 1/4 so we finally put two more 35s onto the total so that's a grand total of 515lbs. right when we let go of the 35s the whole power rack tipped over almost killing me and my dad . The power rack crashed into my neighbors wall with a big BOOM !!!!. ( I live in a apartment and there is a wall that seperates my garage with my neighbor's garage) The top right side of my power rack went through the wall . good thing my neighbor went out to go buy groceries. . so I put the chunk of the wall back in the hole and I straightened out my power rack . I was hoping that maybe my neighbor wouldn't notice the wall . with the 515lbs on the super galaxy I'm guessing that it was about 10.1 on the ironmind scale. The gripper didn't even feel the weight. there was still 2 1/4 more to go. I would think that it would take about 900s to the 1000s of pounds before it closed I still find it funny that people get pissed off and argue with me about the galaxy gripper's being closed one day. . considering a solid #4 is 205lbs. I don't think it's possible. I think the human limits would be around 250lbs.I guess some people have big dreams !!! http://www.gripboard.com/index.php?showtopic=21882

Well I just got the WC and with Warren potentially going into full retirement soon I would be reluctant to sell it. I really don’t want to step on Cannon’s feet and (I know he just got in some Tetting’s in for sale as well) but I purchased these 5 Tetting grippers I mentioned here: http://www.wwfitness.com/handgrippers.html So you can get one of these for yourself before Warren retires. my WC with extended handle is 279. I can’t even close a gripper half of that but it feels good just trying to set this gripper in my hand. How much the rest of you guys are willing to pay for the lowest rated #3 ever.? Evan: Yes I totally agree with what you’re saying here. Even with this 327lb.Tetting, just trying to get your fingers over the handle to try to close is a good way to build strength in that outer range with your hand opened up (like an isometric hold), and in my opinion is similar to having to TNS the gripper as you can’t really budge the gripper from the start so you have to start with the gripper wide open further down in your hand. Regarding my single stamp CoC #3 (135lb rating) I told myself I was not going to sell it until I finally closed it & I was finally able to do that last week: Scott's first COC 3 close So yes I would be willing to sell it now, but not sure how that process works here on the board. I have been told it is very valuable (as far as grippers go) but I am no expert here. I also have a single stamp CoC #1 (78lb rating) & a single stamp CoC #2 (95lb rating) which also may be Cannon’s lowest (or near to it) rating for a CoC #2. I probably have had these grippers for almost 20 years. I attached a word doc to this thread with 2 pictues of these 3 grippers. Sorry I am not very saavy at posting on these forums so this is about the best I could do. If it is listed for sale on gripboard, it must be for a set price. For what it is worth, I have bought numerous items from gripboard members over many years and have never had any problems.
