burkhardmacht
1. thumb position in opposition to the middle finger and tilt the blob when start lifting 2. chalk hands and clap the blob both sides to get the seasoning going 3. don't chalk too much because very dry hands don't get much friction and You'll be considerable weaker 4. use hand cream on a regular basis to keep the skin soft - try out gloves+cream at night and drink a lot to have healthy skin 5. try different thumb positions - concerning the amount of thumb skin in contact with the blob - use less contact surface for more control 6. don't overdo blob - I don't do a lot of volume because my thumb can't take it, just 6 heavy lifts until it get really easy. Then I switch to 10 lifts to be finally able to get strong enough for the next heavier blob.

knyaz
The kta Blob program worked very nicely , it was much simpler to follow Than me trying to figure out blob workouts for myself , and it Definately works .
jvance
-Stretch the hands and thumb. -regularly work the extensors -don't always train by attempting max blobs -do light drags or mini hops on a bouncy surface to build tolerance for the very wide and heavy goal blobs
Rob McMurren
I think the drags have helped me the most
RTvG
Drags, negs, countless attempts. I believe the one thing for me that finally led to a full lift, with the 25kg, was including isometric pinches. It was David Wigren who has a thread on the IM forum on isometrics, that got me to this approach. I have this nice Blobtop that is perfect for it. Ofcourse, you can take your blob inside the house as well too and squeeze many times per day as hard and long as you can into it. As for fingerposition, if you can span the blob with your hand, I would use the index too, but you don't need it. Try to get your remaining fingers as low as possible on the side of the blob.
bwwm
The technique has been well covered above. It's a matter of experimentation I think. In addition to drags on a flat surface, you can also drag it up a ramp, those help. For volume work before you can actually lift it with one hand, you can grip the blob with both hands for time. Another volume technique is to get reps in with a TTK, Tombstone or similar device.
Jedd Johnson
I really appreciate the kind feedback above from Joerg and Six Barrel. I hope you check out "Lift the Blob," Geralt. It will end all your woes regarding Blob and Block Weight lifting: http://thegripauthority.com/lift-the-blob.htm There is a respectable amounts of technique involved in Blob Lifting. In Lift the Blob, I show the two main grips used as well as multiple other things that when all put together can help you add up to 5 or 10 lbs of pinch power. Wish you the best.
1stCoC
Isometric pinch strength is developed at precise distances and angles. Get the Bolb you want to ultimately lift and deload it with bands lever or something that will allow you to have full pull success with the big guy. Note the difficulty ,width and angle change with let's say a gen 2 blob and a Fatman matters! As Russians said" train as you compete"
Geralt
Thank you guys for the input! Gave every post a good read. Some times small vision tweaks on already known points do make change. Cool.
