Thanks guys! Rex, other than 'FatMan' Blobs, I have more trouble w/ the "blob-like implements" because they seem to be bilaterally symmetrical and it's hard for me to know the best way to position my fingers.

Awesome work Bob! Also how far have you walked with lighter blobs like 40's and 45's?

benjaminboy, I tried a couple FW w/ 40s when I first started grip, didn't measure them. The 45s and 47.5s seem just as hard as the 50 (except by the face). I quit using the lighter blobs once I could lift the 50 at least occasionally. I'm getting a little more consistent LH finally, so thought I'd try a FW. RH thumb is more flexible than left, so it gets better purchase on the Blob.

Thanks Parris, John and I would talk about doing it at Gripmas (when he went), because Chris Rice's 45s felt so optimal. I think he might have even gotten air with them in 2008. I'm sure you can beat me on the double Blob FW. Can you do the balancing cans on the Inch trick too?

STRONG!!!!!

Juha, it is sure hard to make progress on the Inch 'cans' lift. I think I can get 20 feet on the blobs in less than a year if i try it several times.

I think that the thinner pair of 45s I have are the same brand as Johns, they are the ones I'm best at, so ill keep trying as a warm up on 2HP pinch days. As far as the inch I tried Tommy Helsep's at the capital grip cup when we were done and I was fried by then so no go. I pretty site I may have tried Jedds after a comp but too tried then too. I need to get regular access to one I guess.

How many seconds hold do you think the blob walk was? I remember that young guy that is friends with Aaron C. Being good at the farmers walk too.

Thanks guys! Burkhard, I think you mentioned something about me being ready for a double Blob FW recently, which got me thinking about trying it. I still have days where the LH struggles to get a full lift, but once in a while it does well.

Keep going! I'll try a walk a soon as it gets warmer outside and when I feel ready!

Hopefully! lol I actually found it quite uncomfortable to train one hand, the other always contracts, no matter what. Everytime i tried grip stuff, the busted hand was screamin real quick.

Bob you're a serious upward trend right now why don't you go for blob clean and press? when I did the snatch I was working at it 3 or 4 times every single day for about 5 days strait.

I was working on getting better form on the Blob curl and tweaked my R bicep about 6 weeks ago (still affects inch work a little bit), so clean and press one hand is definitely possible. I'd rather wait and do a double clean and press, thought it was cool when Sean Dockery did it! Right now my LH is not strong enough-when I move the Blob fast enough to do a clean, I lose it.

Anything I do with the Blob is at the end of a workout as none of my 2015 goals are Blob-related and doing Blobs last doesn't reduce my strength too much on them.
