Very awesome hub strength Luke...and with both hands!

The scale might not necessarily be the problem. The flooring the scale is sitting on looks like it might have some give to it, which would give a lighter than true reading.

I have weighed things under similar conditions but laid a 45 lb plate smooth side up on the flooring to set the scale on.

Not 100% sure this will solve it, but it might be more convenient than bringing a separate scale.

Frank...i thought about that but the rubber is very hard with basically no give. Also i weight myself in the main room but also in the locker room on tile and it was no different. I have a calibrated scale which i have no problem keeping in my car for future times. It cought also be a bunch of plates that are slightly light compared to expected!

Also a distinct possibility.

Either way, your definitely over 70 lbs, and likely approaching 75 based on what the setup weighs and if the plates are fairly close to face value.

Yeah, thick rubber matting which will obviously void this lift, given how springy it is, I'm guessing a tad more than feather down! ;)

Maybe we need a hardness test for all lifting surfaces and then display the cert. but we'll have to decide upon a scale, my vote is for Rockwell. ;)

Sweet hubbing man! :rock

I see your upset about your lift not passing.

That's understandable, I get it, but the discussion isn't about voiding or passing lifts, it's about getting an accurate scale reading without going through extra troubles like bringing in separate scales.

I'm just trying to help Luke by adding something constructive....can you say the same?

Autolupus, if your upset over your lift failing the voting why don't you just make a thread about it or something but don't bring a bunch of anger to someone else’s thread.

AL: dont compare Lukes completely valid lift to yours on a pillow. Your lack of respect for the rest if the grip community/judges is childish to say the least. You dont bother using standard equipment then get upset when you arent taken seriously, you take things seriously and maybe just maybe youll get a bit in return.

Luke i apologize for going off topic my man, congratulations on some awesome traditional hubbing!

It is all good about going off topic...not a big deal and thanks for the complement!!

^^^^^THIS!

Nice lifts. Doing it with both hands is a big deal.

There was something muscular and mental that clicked when I was doing the double 45 hub the other night prior to this which really helped me. Outside this and my one prior hub workout I had never lifted over 55lbs LH. Thanks guys!!

Really solid hub lifts Lucas!

Thank you!!

I see, a mistype clearly implies illiteracy!

Re-read my posts, take a minute to digest the information, then grow up Mike.

Stop trying to bring attention to yourself by throwing fits in other peoples threads....you just look childish.
