When Is It Time For The Mm1?

Just got my 159lb MM level 1 in the mail last week. I tried it out during my workout today and just barley closed it for one rep. I don't think I could close it on command, but I was pretty excited when I did get it closed. Obviously I would like to get certified asap, but I don't want to waste my and other peoples time. So my question is when would be a good time to sign up? I was think when I can get it every workout or maybe when I can get 2 reps with it?

Chez said that mm1 was ~153 lbs.

When I closed my 157 mm1 replica he said that I could cert.

You should be able now.

Sounds like you're ready right now to me. Physically, at least.

How is your filming of the gripper close? If it's solid and clear, you are ready to sign up for the MM1.

No need to wait until you can rep it. You only have to get one clear rep with it to certify.

Well my gym/shop where I certified on my MM0 is like a refrigerator, so I am having to workout in a chain gym right now. Thanks for the advice, I didn't think about the actual filming aspect of it. I will work on that next week. Thanks!
