I'm glad to see a video of him giving the Euro some hell...very impressive stuff as usual. Quote "Gold medals aren't really made of gold. Mikael Siversson Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 Although Mr Horne is not a close friend of mine I still recognize a huge feat of grip strength when I see one. This must surely be the most extreme case of commentary volume vs significance of feat ever produced on the GB. A feat only two people have ever done in competition in the fairest test of pure pinch strength gets less attention than a someone closing a #1 gripper for the first time. How weird is that? 3 Quote
Jedd Johnson Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 David, that was nearly there brother. Almost looked like the hind end of the pipe struck your back leg with TOO MUCH force or something. They cant comprehend. They have no clue what it takes to do that and most of the people who comment on coc1 threads have never seen, less touched a euro pinch irl. I rarely comment on inch dumbell stuff cause I have never seen one irl. I dont know what it takes to row a 78kg inch like Juha does but I can relate to closing a coc1. The more extreme the feat the fewer the people that can relate. lifesnotfair Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 David Horne is an amazing gripster for sure, and he is doing this at an already not-so-young age, isn't he? Which adds to the impressiveness. Awesome feat!! I would love to see the 2HP get more popular at events like Mighty Mitts or similar, so the very large strongmen can also try it. Anyways, amazing feat indeed!! 2 Quote
kodyburns Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 David's work always inspires me ! He's been in the game longer than probably all of us. I'd love to train with him and pick his brain. Can't wait to get his grip encyclopedia. 1 Quote
