Juha Harju Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 Could someone tell me how much is Ironmind Little Big Horn world record? Is it same as NAGS record (Kody) or is it Adam T Class´s record? And how much is the record? Thanks. Quote Juha Harju Finland The King Kong Of Grip GripMonsters GripMonsters-YouTube
Hubgeezer Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 I believe the IronMind World Record was set July 15, 2012 by Adam Glass, 220 pounds at the inaugural San Jose Fit Expo. The Gripsport recognized number is much lower than that. Quote

But they will give you an inkling of what is possible. 300lbs is doable right now for a few select mutants. Quote

A GB member e-mailed me a few weeks ago and said he didn't believe these numbers, and that he would have to "see them on video" to believe it. I told him it's like gravity. It doesn't matter if you believe it. Jump off a 100 foot cliff and once you hit the ground, you'll be a believer in gravity. Even though it'll be just for a split second. 1 Quote
jvance Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 (edited) There are a lot of mutants already pulling the horn, no one at 250, only 2-3 guys we know of currently close to that. Burns, Glass, and Harju. I believe 300 is possible in time... But if the current beasts of grip who have already proven mutant strength and train specifically aren't close to 300, then it will take a true freak who eats, sleeps, and breathes grip to break that boundary w/ a legit lift. We are talking a hundred year strength athlete. Edited December 1, 2014 by jvance Quote Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/JVance0001?feature=mhee
steve0 Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Haven't heard much about Adam Glass lately. Is he still into grip? Quote 2015 goals: COC cert Pinch two 45s Lift the Inch and Blob 2016 goals: See above
