William C. Prevost Posted November 30, 2014 Author Posted November 30, 2014 What is your regular lifting looking like? I don't do much regular lifting due to my eyes my eye doctor said me being very near sighted and diabetic that I would risk retina detachment so I quit lifting 2 or 3 years back I might due abs with crunches and torso twists light shoulder work with raises to keep them moving good but nothing to strenuous in between sets of standing wrist curls while I have the bar up I might do shrugs in the past any weight I could dead lift I would do shrugs I could dead lift 355 back then and I did shrugs with that I might still could do it but I rather not risk my eyes so its a bit tricky to really do much regular lifting for me I was upset to hear that from the doctor then but I still stuck with grip and forearm work cause I had to do something in the strength building sport Quote
Durrs Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 Sorry to hear that. To me your grip workout looks solid with all the wrist stuff and not too concentrated on one thing. I was going to say you definitely need to add some full body stuff at least once a week not concentrated on grip so your whole body will get get stronger but it doesn't look like you can do that. Even if you could add some kind of row or pull up it would help you out a lot I feel. Maybe even deadlifts with fat gripz will make it so you won't be anywhere near pulling a regular power bar max. All the best in your training and good luck. Quote "The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak"
Jörg Keilbach Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 I am also sorry to hear that. But perhaps you could do somthing like "Steve Justa - Singles Training". It is an easy strength training. You only do singles with 70 % of your max. But you do a lot of sets and and a high frequency. Quote
EJ Livesey Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Maybe try convict training. It's all body weight exercises. Not a single free weight.
