Coc #3 Ccs Close

Hey guys. Got this close pretty easy. I would like to cert this and red nail together so I did this then actually did a 6.5" red nail than a 7" red with no rubber bands. I will post those in bending forum.

The red I'm very confident to cert on and pretty confident on the 3 but because they vary some and I'd attempt on a new one id like to keep killing the CCS first.

Hey man great close. I was just wondering how many times you've actually trained with grippers before doing this CCS #3 close?

You seem to be jumping from feat to feat without much effort att all. ( yes I'm jealous :-).

Royz I'm new to bending but not grippers. I've been using grippers for 10 years. If you notice all my CoC grippers are the old style that just have the number on the bottom not the coc and dots and all that. Except my 3.5 of course.

Just keep at the stuff and you will be there!

I don't have any set workouts I do. I just do whatever depending on what I feel like.

Josh, I really have no idea. The only rated gripper I own is my 166 elite and the 3 is way easier than that. But it's relative. I used to think my 3 felt like a brick but as you get stronger it feels lighter of course. I'm sure it rates where most other 3s do.

Great work man! CCSing a 3 is a world class strength feat, congrats!

Thanks Anthony and Chez!!

Upon thinking about the question on what my 3 rates I do recall my missed attempt to cert way back in 04 with Strossen as the judge and the gripper I just missed on was a "light" number 3. I want to say low 140s. I attempted that right after Kevin Busse certed. I had never owned a 3 yet at that point but bought one right after and that's my only 3 and it is for sure harder than that low 140s gripper.

Well that's a relieve. I was beginning to think everybody was a natural around here. ;-)
