I've successfully used this to increase my pull-ups and just recently starting using it to increase reps on an anvil I have. If you're trying to get more reps on a device this could be helpful.

Thanks, this looks interesting. How many days a week? How much rest between sets?

So far I've only been doing it once a week, but I think it could work for twice a week. I haven't been paying attention to rest times though, just whenever I feel ready for the next set.
