The bench alone is crazy, but the fact its with a axle

makes it better than any bench i have seen!

wow.. you just benched more on the axle than anyone has ever DO deadlifted with it.. insane.

I didn't even think of that, the weight alone just blew my mind

Please compete at a big expo it would be amazing too see you head to head with some of the best guys in the sport.

The more you keep posting world class stuff like this Chris, more and more people will urge you to compete, and if you choose not to, some will start calling you a fake and coming up with any little thing they can to cast doubt on your strength - even if it is verified by third parties on more than one occasion. Apparently unless you enter a competition, you are not strong, and are a fake to many people.

If you are one of the guys who just enjoys what he does and has no interest in competition, be ready for stuff like that. It's already happened to someone who was the best in the world at something else lower arm strength wise.

You haven't heard anyone talk badly of Chris, yet but in time if he continues to choose against competition, these people will come out from under their rocks and do their best to question or even right out slander him him - but then again, he is lifting thickbars not bending steel, so maybe they wont.

Thanks for the lovely comments guys x

I'm not really bothered about what people think , I know my lifts are genuine and my Dad and sons and friends . I've never claimed any records , just do it for personal enjoyment . I like to test myself against the old time greats. If people are offended by the videos I will stop posting them, it's the last thing I want to do is upset somebody .

Fantastic bench pressing, that has to be said.

Regarding grip competition, Chris has competed at least once against the UK guys (Horne and others). Struggled a bit with the Europinch but showed huge strength in the vbar. Unfortunately Chris injured his arm quite badly in that event (vbar).

naw bro, its allgood.. ive never heard anyone talk any stuff about Chris. I, for one, would love to see him drop some jaws at a comp with some of the best tho. I think it would be quite humbling for some of the top grip guys to be honest. if someone suggests Chris do a comp, then they/I/we/whoever just want to see him destroy the competition, is all.

You're capable of some freakish things but I did not expect you to have such a huge bench. You're an all around monster

Plenty of people have questioned Chris James over the years, including every now and then me. It would be great if he could come back to competition as he seems even stronger now.
