indiladhar Posted April 30, 2013 Share Posted April 30, 2013 -used to pinch for times holds, recently switched to pinch repetition lifts. -left thumb skin stretches/tears with each pinch session, never the right thumb. -location: just above the second joint on the inside of the thumb (not the flap of skin between thumb and forefinger). I don't know if this is something that will go away as the skin toughens or not, but it's painful! Usually ends up tearing until it bleeds but its quite off putting in general.
