How does a MM7 compare? The guys who have tried it say the MM7 is like a light COC #4. So if you can close a CoC #4 you can close a MM7? Not necessarily. They are different grippers and have a different feel, but if you are consistently closing a COC #4 with a MMS set than you have a great shot at certifying MM7 and should sign up for the MM7 attempt. In grip sport we use the RGC rating system. I know you are new to the board. Are you familiar with the RGC rating system? If not, here is a link describing the way we rate grippers in grip sport since even 2 grippers of the same level and model (like two COC #4's) vary in difficulty http://cannonpowerworks.com/pages/ratings. There are other variables that go into how hard a gripper is like spread between the handles, knurling, sweep etc. One you get more experience, you learn the differences between gripper brands. The top guys have estimated the RGC rating of the MM grippers (They are not allowed to rated per the rules).
