David Horne
Okay, since it's been asked for . Here it is. Have fun! I'll put this on my forum too. I don't know how to edit this page, but someone can tell me how. One Hand 50lb Blob Curl against WallRules1. Use a proper York Blob (50lb, 47.5lb, 45lb, 42.5lb, 40lb, 37.5lb, 35lb, 32.5lb, 30lb)2. Lift the Blob from the ground, and then lean against the wall. 3. Your upper back and bottom are to stay against the wall. Your heels of your feet can be 10" away from the wall, to take the strain off your back. 4. Curl the Blob with one hand from hang to full curl. 5. Post your youtube video link here. I'll keep both lists updated.

Rick Walker
People dont realize how incredibly hard this lift is until you try it. Even with a small block weight. However, Mr. Johnson would have been kicked out of Planet Fitness on that first rep...
David Horne
You are right Rick, I am suprised people are not all over this incredible feat of strength by Jedd! I've seen many feats in my life, and this is high on the list.
Jedd Johnson
Wow! Huge lift........and doing it while rocking the house shoes, that is confidence my friends. :bow Heath, if you haven't tried lifting in either bare feet or some other type of minimal sole footwear, i suggest you try it. There is nothing like it. You won't believe the extra strength you get. I'm wearing moccasins in just about every video if you look close enough, after 2009. Rick, I think you are right about getting kicked out of Planet Fitness. It would be worth it to get this feat done though.
Stephen Ruby
That is one of the best grip feats I have ever seen! I knew jedd was one of the best in this sport but this is really pushing the limits now. Great lift, very motivating stuff.

Jedd Johnson
In the summer, I go either bare foot or socks a lot fo the time. In the winter, the floor is just too cold. I compete in socks all the time.
Rick Walker
I have broke my toes twice from falling weights. Once was just from a 45 pound plate tipping over that was leaning against my garage door. Broke my pinky and 4th toe quite nicely and turned a wonderful shade of black. That being said, both times I had shoes on. If I didnt, it would have probably caused a lot more skin damage, but a break is a break. If you drop a 50 pound blob from curl height and it lands on your foot, shoes or no shoes, you are on crutches for a minimum of 6 weeks and probably under the knife getting reconstructive surgery. I used to bench alone a lot with the fear factor to motivate me. If you get stuck with no spotter racks you are screwed. I did that until I was doing thumbless skull crushers and dropped 95 pounds on my neck from lockout. That ended my no spotter rack and no spotter days.
