mightyjoe
Just wanted to let my grip family here know about a NEW venture in the planning stages right now and I'm supper stoked about for sure!!! Myself and Jill Mills (2X World's Strongest Woman, World Champion Powerlifter and World Record Holder) are in the planning stages of offering (nation wide) strength and conditioning seminars for older athletes (40 & up) with an emphasis on injury prevention. Like I said, we are in the planning stages now and have a ton of details to work out to make this a very effective and worthwhile program we're offering. We are taking our combined experience and knowledge of the iron game and what it takes to excel and progress injury free in the strength and conditioning arena and making it available to those interested. We have some really neat ideas in store and I simply can't wait to get started!!! I've known Jill since 1997 and have competed with her (along with my 2 sons) in Strongman competitions from 2000 - 2004! Jill is a first class athlete, trainer/coach and her credentials are impressive to say the least. We can and will learn a lot from each other as we go! I will probably not be frequenting the GB nearly as much now due to this huge opportunity!!! We both have specialties in S&C and it should be interesting for sure as to what we come up with in a combined, mutual way. I will keep you guys posted on our progress and where we'll be and at what dates. Right now we will be focused on areas (gyms, schools, etc.) in Texas and Oklahoma. Depending on the demand we will travel anywhere in the US. Currently I'm in the middle of a Kinesiology course that I'm very committed to complete along with this new venture. In other words, my life just got a lot more busy but in a very good way!!! No complaints! My son, Cody has purchased nearly all the needed equipment to start off his side business (MuscleBells) and eventually become a sponsor on the GB and offer his custom made products (mainly monster DB's of various styles and sizes). Wish me well and hope to see and meet some of the frequent GB members in my travels!!!

mightyjoe
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-6JAAMrmeUHey Joe...I was watching a strength feat compilation video this morning. Any chance you know the guy at 2:29? That's ME!!! I had an awesome seat that historical day for sure and got a great pic too!!! Best part of that day was it lead to me getting to personally meet and talk with Bennie for an hour non stop, one on one about my favorite thing, STRENGTH and how to acquire it!!! I should write a post about me and Bennie's conversation! It was an awesome day I'll never forget! Thanks for posting this video! Hope to meet you SOON Nathan!!!
