Gift2k1 Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 I recently purchased both the Baraban adjustable and the V2 and was wondering if anyone else has both and has tried alternating springs? The new CROM spring that comes with the V2 is quite hard so I can only do the first few notches. So since the Baraban comes with a "weak" and "hard" spring, I figured I'd see how they work on the V2 to practice the set. All of the springs fit and function interchangeably, but I was wondering about difficulty levels. On the Baraban adjustable page at GSS, the ratings for each spring are listed but I have to wonder if they would be equal when switching the spring to the vulcan. I'm not sure the full ROM is the same. I tried testing it by closing the V2 with the RB "weak" spring at around the same poundage as an average #1 then also closing my #1 to compare. It seems pretty close but it's hard to tell due to the differences between the V2 and a CoC, not to mention the wicked set on the V2. Does anyone own both and have any thoughts? Quote

I own both and I switch springs from one unit to the next all the time. Really hard to judge because of the wide set on the V2. Quote If you focus on your problems, you'll have more problems.
