Eric Roussin Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 An armwrestler buddy of mine, Hasan Monfils, came by my place for an impromptu workout tonight. Over the course of the evening he had fun playing with some of my grip toys. With no pinch grip training under his belt, he was able to lift the Bob50 to lockout with his right hand. Needless to say, I was impressed. I've been working on the Blob50 for a year, and have not yet been able to lift it (although I'm getting close). I was pretty jealous of the fact he could lift the Blob without ever having attempted it before. For him, it wasn't a big deal. He's more obsessed with lifting the Inch, which he tries to lift every time he stops by. Ironically, I was able to lift the Inch the first time I tried it, and he's jealous of that. Hasan also managed to get a couple of inches of air under my 150 lb anvil when two-hand pinching it from the top, and he also lifted the same anvil by the horn! 1 Quote Major Grip Titles Won: 8x Canadian Nationals; 6x Visegrip Viking; 3x APL Worlds; 3x Armlifting Worlds; 3x North Americans; 2x Arnolds; 2x Armlifting World Super Series; 2x Cross-Canada; 1x King Kong; 1x Shaw Classic Founder of Canada Grip Sport / Co-Founder of the International King Kong Grip Challenge / Creator of The Armwrestling Archives

Eric Roussin Posted October 20, 2011 Author Posted October 20, 2011 Our hand lengths are about the same, but his span is slightly bigger than mine. His hand is also naturally a bit thicker than mine. eduard23 Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Talking about armwrestlers.I saw Ion Oncescu 5 time world champion at AW crushing a #3 gripper from no set without training grippers. In my opinion he has the most complete grip i ever seen. Quote
