Bright508620 Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 Hey everyone. My name is Casey Bright. Well im really just trying to get my grip as strong as possible for now. Im 18 years old and i have found grip training to be one of the things i truly love. I don't think i will ever let it go. Even when i go to college! My youtube page is up. Check out my vids. Subscribe to me and ill subscribe back:) http://www.youtube.com/user/bright5086200?feature=mhee So ive been grip training for about 8 months now (a couple [2] real serious months), and as you can see, im getting close to the number 3 MMS. Its a goal of mine to do it by the end of the year, but we will have to wait and see what happens. I plan on letting people see my workouts on here and i plan to share my knowledge with all! I might not be getting everything up but ill get up as much as i can. Thanks! Not only do i do gripper work. I lift weights, i plan on playing football in college, and maybe someday doing MMA. So grip is very important. I also do Fat Gripz work (fat bar), pinch lifts (hub, Plates), Wrist Roller and forearm work (all for grip). 1 Quote GOALS Captains of Crush #3 MMS Captains of Crush #2.5 CCS Beat my cousin in Arm Wrestling by Christmas MY YOUTUBE CHANNEL ---> http://www.youtube.c...00?feature=mhee

Chez Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 I have seen your vids on youtube. Great stuff. If you train hard, maybe you can certify on the #3 as a teenager. Not many people have done that. Good luck Quote "A lot of men train to be pretty, I train to be the strongest man in the world, then again I'm already pretty." -Magnus Samuelsson "You don't have to be fat to be strong!" - Svend Karlsen "I know it doesn't just come from playing with yourself" - Svend Karlsen talking to Magnus Samuelsson about closing the COC #4. patrickmeniru Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 Good luck with your goals, getting close to crushing that #3! Just out of interest (i'm trying to gauge my own strength, i'm a little behind you in the grip department) - how many consecutive MMS reps of the #2 can you currently do/could you do when you first closed the #2.5? I know reps doesn't translate to max strength in the same way for everyone, but i think its a useful rough guide and i'd like to be able to crush a #2.5 out of the packet before i get one. Currently at about 10 CCS reps with my #2 both hands - although i think i have an easy #2. Cheers, Pat Quote

I can do around high 20's to low 30's depending on the day right now. So i would say if you can do high teens, you would be able to smash the #2.5 Quote GOALS Captains of Crush #3 MMS Captains of Crush #2.5 CCS Beat my cousin in Arm Wrestling by Christmas MY YOUTUBE CHANNEL ---> http://www.youtube.c...00?feature=mhee
patrickmeniru Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Cheers for the advice I got the #2.5 on Friday and crushed it out of the packet!! right hand anyway, left had a little way to go, but i think that's more down to the set than anything else, don't really practice setting left handed.
