silverbackgrip
HOLY SH*T! I never thought "negatives" would hurt so much, my hands were on fire! The rest of the workout was o.k., though I feel like my hands should be hurting more. Maybe I didn't do enough? If you see some sh*t that needs correcting, then drop that knowledge on my ass! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XYjaC77--I CoC Sport 2x7 CoC #1 1x7 CoC #2 5x5 CoC #2.5(right hand) #2(left hand) 3x1 CoC #3(right hand) #2.5(left hand) (NEGATIVES) 2x1 http://silverbackgrip.com
Schweinemann
Not bad, considering it is one of your first work outs on grippers. I still think you will not make it to the #4 until next year, but you got potential. Actually i don't think that you didn't do enough. I think it was almost too much, especially in the beginning. The heavy negatives are not necessary yet, in my opinion, but there are more qualified people on this board to give you an advice. And if you do them, i would do them earlier and not after the 5x5 #2. If you do so many sets, im sure that you will run in some tendon problems in the next weeks to come - be carefull. Another thing is your set, i think its far from perfect. You should watch some of Paul KKnights youtube videos of "How to set a gripper"...You give up way too much leverage, to close a number 4 you have to have it perfect. Jedd Johnson
I wouldn't expect hand pain from the grippers right away except for the skin from the knurling, maybe.
Savage Jake
I would incorporate some timed holds with that 2.5 in there. Shut it and hold it as long as you can. Maybe also some inverted closes.
