AlexR Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 Feeling good tonight, managed a left hand close on my black spring COC3 which is a tough gripper, and a couple of right closes, after a grip workout too.Things are looking good. All those nights in the garage are paying off Quote Goals Lift the Inch. daniel reinard Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 Right on! Keep at it. How's the CCS progress for the cert? Curious on how you're training for it. Did you do MMS up until you got the #3, then work up to CCS? Quote Introduced to grip world 8/22/10

Did you do MMS up until you got the #3, then work up to CCS? Thanks.I use a combination of both MMS and CCS.I tend to use a wide set on my working gripper, that I use for low reps,I feel that gives me power through the sweep.I use a MMS set on my hard or goal grippers, and as I get used to closing it,the set gets wider. CCS on the 3 is a little sketchy at the moment, but it will come Quote Goals Lift the Inch. Cert Red nail.Done Lift the Dinnie stones. Bend a KOAB.
AlexR Posted October 14, 2010 Author Posted October 14, 2010 I also forgot to add got my RB300 from a MMS set down to 1/2 of inch, fooling around before the workout.Thats the most I have moved that gripper.Feeling great tonight Quote Goals Lift the Inch. daniel reinard Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 Thanks Alex. I do about the same thing. MMS when going for near limit closes and no set closes on the easier ones. Once I get the #3 MMS I'll open up the set until I can CCS it. Quote Introduced to grip world 8/22/10

AlexR Posted October 15, 2010 Author Posted October 15, 2010 Thanks for the comments,my left hand always lagged behind my right, even though I am a south paw.`My intention now is too concentrate on using tougher grippers and coming back to the 3 and hopefully the work I put in on the tougher stuff, will help me dominate the 3 for a cert.
