De-load Week

I'm curious how often everyone does a de-load week here, and for what reason? Weights start to become more difficult? A generally less positive attitude toward working out? Or something else altogether...

I like to deload about every 2 months. I started doingit years ago due to burnout after a couple months of hitting it hard and now I just do it. I always come back stronger and more motivated after de-load and haven't reached a point of lack of motivation since I started doing it.

The program I'm following now calls for a de-load week every 4th week.  This is my first time using a de-load week so I'm still getting used to it.  I think I'd rather every 2 months like Russ said though.
