AlexR
During my grip workout last night, managed to close my RB260.4 attempts, all good closes, but can't close that COC3.Been mostly using a 2.5 for a working gripper, and RB300 for negatives. The 2.5 I can CCS close. The RB260 I closed from a parallel set but still, can't budge the handles on the 3 past the last 5mm. Has me thinking I have a tough 3,lol.

AlexR
Either that or a easy 2.
Malice
Good job on the RB260 brother!! That puts you closer to closing the 3 since you've obviously gotten stronger. Keep up the good work

Keep up the good work RBs are all over the place! I've got one around a #3 that I've just TNSed.(check my gallery) They can be very squishy! RBs are generally very poor and also season quite terribly. You may have an RB260 that starts at a 3.2 but after you've hit it a few times is around a 2.9!...and this is no bull!! I didn't know they could be that bad. So much for the "cadillac of grippers" hahaha Still a great job on the close Alex

AlexR
Good job on the RB260 brother!! That puts you closer to closing the 3 since you've obviously gotten stronger. Keep up the good work Thanks,my 260 is a tough one,a lot harder than my 2.5.My 3 tends to bind up a lot, even oiling it does not seem to help,it makes a terrible noise when closing it. I was going to get another 3 to compare it too,but decided to keep plugging away at the one I have until I close it,then buy another. If mine is a hard one then if I am lucky it should make closing others easier
AlexR
Another point is,my RB260 is only a week old, only had a dozen attempts on it,so it will not have seasoned too much I would have thought?
Autolupus
Check Matti's calibration results: http://p2.foorumi.info/rautakoura/viewtopic.php?t=9&start=0 Any where from a 2.4/127lb RNC to a 3.3/162lb RNC Now in any terms that has to be quite a wide variation and probably one you won't better, for a rum turn of phrase. AlexR
Thanks for the link. Just been playing with both the 2.5 and the 260,the 2.5 is much easier to close. So it can only be good if I am closing the RB
