EVENTS:

FBBC GRIPPERS: Max reps with ladder. One rep with a 3X beats 10 reps with a 2X, 1 rep with a 4X beats any # with a 3X. 2 min, resets allowed, both hands, MM set.

BENDING – FBBC rules, FBBC stock. Best bar wins. May not use stainless, TBA. 3 attempts.

PLATE HULA – Two 25lb plates for max trips around the body. Chalk only, no time limit.

2.5” CRUSHER FOR MAX – 3 attempts. No thumbless grip. Chalk only as a grip aid. May drop weight one time. Because I’m just that nice. To lockout.

MEDLEY – Big & bad, all types of stuff. One hand, two hand, bending, tearing, everything.

HERCULES HOLD – cars on ramps for time.

AWARDS/PRIZES: Lots of stuff, like every year.

ENTRY FEE: $50

FOOD FOR ALL AFTER, BEER, TOYS, GOOD TIMES. PLAN TO STAY & PLAY AFTER. BRING ANYTHING YOU WANT TO PLAY WITH. WE HAVE ROOM FOR STUFF AS BIG AS CABERS (THAT RICK BROUGHT), AND WE HAVE THROWN CABERS AT 10PM IN THE DARK BY HEADLIGHT BEFORE. I HAVE A LOT OF TOYS, BUT BRING ANYTHING YOU LIKE.

Hey John, if you know your gonna pretty much suck at every event but one is it better to just come and watch? If I wanted to try some of the stuff would I have to enter or will people be allowed to try some of it out after the actual contest is over?

I'm sure chris rice will chime in with this as well.

if you come, compete. you'll get much more out of it and you'll regret not stepping up if you pass.

Definitely try the comp, you'll learn a ton from the experienced guys, everyone is great about helping each other out. At the first BBB Greg Amidon showed me how to wrap, and wrapped a couple bars for me & I went from a (max) 7" x 1/4" square bend to my first Bastard that day. Even if you pull a dead last finish, you'll probably hit PR's in everything.

When we hit 20 guys or the day of the show, whichever comes first. I had my first, extremely pathetic bending session Mon. A couple of scraps off the bench to warm up, then a Bastard, followed by a Huge Bastard. That I didn't finish. Wow. I have to get the bending training back. I haven't done anything hard since training for the last BBB 2 years ago.
